Keaton got his start as a student entrepreneur, launching a nonprofit to support the Charlottesville-Albemarle education innovation ecosystem.
He led annual Youth Innovation Summits engaging 700+ local students over 4 years, facilitated design thinking retreats for educators and school leaders, and coordinated efforts to ask 550+ students for their perspective on the future of school.
Across this work, Keaton validated his core belief that the best ideas emerge from combining lived experience with dreams of a better future.
